TheNeedForZ
Subaru LSD? Never heard of it. Will this thing work on a Z? It says no axles included, will stock Z axles fit? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DATSUN-240Z-280Z-510-LSD-SUBARU-DIFFERENTAIL_W0QQitemZ8001369645QQcategoryZ33731QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

JMortensen
It's an R160. I think it bolts right in. Nice and light. I personally think it's on the weak side, but there are people here who swear you can put 300 whp down on one without breaking it. Search R160 and you might find a post with comments from Savage42 and johnc.
slownrusty
Alot of the SR20DET 510 guys are running this R160 Subaru LSD with great success, they seem to be holding up to the abuse. Yasin

rudypoochris
I think someone said somewhere that the axles from a r180 240z will create incorrect backlash when put into this unit. I am not sure though that could just be one persons strange experience. i read this by searching r160 and posts by johnc. Check it out it is one of the three results. But other then that they are cheap so it is worth a try. And if you are adventurous why not try swapping the center into a r200 or an r180 might have intresting results, although i do believe the weak point is not the actual ring gear.
