dr_hunt
There's some really bad cars owned by folks on this site, I'm always amazed at what I see. Check out the timeslip database and you'll get pointed in the right direction as far as who's doing what with what. But, what's even more lame is that when you do a search to see if any info does come up, you find that they surely couldn't of searched at all cause there is a wealth of info, sometimes there's so many threads, that it takes hours to scan them looking for any info that's pertinent. It seems that it's real easy to post a thread and watch the sharks circle and have no mercy.
AK-Z
Well to answer his question. You (obviously) can get 300-400hp out of a Datsun L6, but you would for the most part have to do a rebuild, and from the vagueness of your question, you ouldn't want to go into rebuilding a L6 when to get the same or more HP it would be more reasonable to just do an engine swap with something capable of producing more reliable HP. Easiest way to gain HP on these engines is to either put in bigger/better injectors or going carb setup and also removing th EGR valve. Guest cbarton
Check out Top-End Performance at http://www.racetep.com/z510card.html they claim they can build an L28 that will hold up to 600+
JMortensen
Search and you'll find more, but this thread deals with the 600 hp yellow car: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=81341 BTW I saw the yellow car when I visited TEP 10 or 11 years ago and it was a sweet car. Just not a 600 hp sweet car, supposedly.
JMortensen
cbarton, I didn't realize which post this was. If referring to TEP was a joke, I get it now... if not, then search and find out more about TEP.
