savageskaterkid
Did anybody see that shooting star type thing tnite? I was outside and the sky turned bright blue and i looked up and it looked like a rocket, but was way to high up to be a model rocket, and even a real rocket can't travel from one star to another within 3 seconds? Is it sum kind of natural phenomenon or is it sumthin else? It took up the whole sky, so atleast the east coast people may have seen it, it was about 9:15 and it was straight up in the sky
mark
My kid was just telling me about it. Same discription
Z-TARD
Possibly some debris from either one of ours or the russians rockets. Theres a lot of junk up there from years of sending up expendable multiple stage rockets, some of it turns pretty colors as it burns up in the atmosphere. Pop N Wood
All my neighbors were talking about it. Pretty intense shooting star. The planets were hellaciously brite tonight also. Perfect Holloween.
BrandonsZ
Sorry bout that, I'll have to turn my lights down when flying over the east coast, the blue light came from the exhaust fumes when they combined with hellasious speeds in the upper atmosphere. Owning a Hybrid Z is cool sometimes!
Sparks280zt
it was in the news, something to do with a dust storm on mars
akeizm
Hah I honostly dont see how some sand flyin around on mars can make a bright blue flash like people are describing.
Sparks280zt
evidently the dust storms on mars (according to the news article) engulf the whole planet and winds can whip dust up to 800 mph which allows the dust particles to leave the atmosphere, so basically its all a BS cover up and what you saw was the top secret Aurora plane!!!
DaleMX
I saw a piece of debris fall 2 mornings ago looking south. It was big, fast, close, bright, and no tail to it. Happened at 5:50 AM. Really woke me up.

BrandonsZ
Officially it was a weather balloon, it was carrying several high altitude test dummys, which may have shrunken during reentry, and it landed on a common wood deer, not a Chupacabra. Yup that explains it.
DatsunATX
Ive noticed some weird stuff up in the sky lately too...... -Ben
TheNeedForZ
If it lit up the sky then it's meteorites or other junk falling into the atmosphere.
