2126
Man alive, after looking at the pics you took when you started this project and then seeing the results......well, I must say you have certainly performed some magic! Your Z looks great! I remember when I was at the stage you are at and how excited I was to get it back on the road to have some fun. You should be very proud of your efforts, because it certainly shows! VERY NICELY DONE..........

spotfitz
Now that is a love for Z cars. Lots of hard work to bring one back that most people would just discard. Excellent work in all aspects!

Sparky
I've got to hand it to you Austin, you brought that car back from the dead. I would have scrapped it. amazing amount of work in a short period of time, hope to see it one day!

Here is a small video i took to other night its nothing good but its a little clip of it going down the driveway and back. Type rs BOV sounds nasty at 3psi. http://www4.ncsu.edu/~alhoke/Movie.wmv

crazy280
That is stunning...great work man! Your "before" pictures look exactly like my current 240z, so that gives me hope that my car can someday look as good as yours (lol, I wish). BTW, what's the name of the paint color you used, its gorgeous.
Guest 73Turbo240z
lol i'll have to get photos up of my front end, just stuck the hood on... and i went exactly the opposite way of you, i cloaked out my intercooler as much as i could... can't even tell it's there really. Looks good!
240hoke
Hey guys thanks again. crazy280 - the paint color is spectra blue, with one coat of dupont blue pearl, and then dupoint chromaclear. There is a thread about it fro ma couple months back. 73turbo280z -- Yes lol i thought about this, but then again the intercooler is a statement and i just love the look of a huge front mount. I may anodize mine black in the future and put a sprayer on it we will see. Its hard to make a 240z sleeper to begin with!
b__sosick
any pics of the interior? MY it sounds frightening
mobythevan
That first picture is fantastic. With the leaves, the house in the background and the awesome z. It is what I would expect to see on the cover of a hot rod magazine or in a calendar. I think we need to get x-mas cards made with that picture on them. The z is home for the holidays. Very nice for a wallpaper like mentioned earlier.
Lunar240z
Very nice for a wallpaper like mentioned earlier. I second that.
