More info to follow, but I'd like to start working up meetings now if possible so we can make the most of the week. crazy280 Posted December 7, 2005 Share Posted December 7, 2005 Since you're a mountain biker, you should check out the trails in Marin (birthplace of the sport). Mt. Tamalpais has some of the best riding in the country. Marin is across the GG bridge from SF. Definitely hit up "Repack", its the trail where the first ever mountain bike race was held. Oakland hills has some good downhill stuff if you're into that at all. Marin also has some great trails. I've heard people go on and on about China Camp. For those of you that live out here, we should host some sort of get-together, so Mike can meet everyone. Isn't April usually the time that Dan puts on the show out in Rio Vista? That's if he plans on doing it again. If you wanted, I could take you for a drive in the car my mom drives to work everyday (Especially after knowing that you owned a Mustang for a few years.) There are few Dodge diesel guys in the area if you're interested. I could set it up so you could meet the owner of Winspeed Diesel and his 750HP daily driven truck. There is another "concept" bike building shop in Oakland opening up soon. Its a bike shop/tatoo parlor/cafe/restaurant. You can grab a bite and watch some bikes or cars on the dyno all after you peruse the showroom floor. Well...keep us updated, so maybe all of us Bay people can get something together for you.
