incredible work man... your just not gonna' miss anything are you?

I hope not... : )

So any updates Mull? :)

Not really, no. Waiting for the go-ahead to pick up a 240z and drive/trailer it

to my carbon-guy for some well needed parts. Hopefully it will happen during

this upcoming week. Everything's moving painfully slow, I know. I know :-r

Not much real updates other than that I've ordered some CF wide ZG-flares

for the back. Front will recieve similar once production starts. And I've been

doing some grinding/polishing of the RB26 intake. Slow boat to China... : )

Engine/speedshop has been really busy lately, so no updates on that either.

Sorry everyone : (

I'd like to know what rims these are! They look sweet!

They're OZ F1 rims.

Hello friend I want felicitarte by the excellent job that they doing in the 240z, I have a 280zx 83 and I'm in paint. I had some oxides that with the help of your video I had some ideas and you remove the rotted. These videos excite much as one who want to disarm and leave the car as the Tuileries. But asked whether the terms and already know how I am.

Greetings from the El salvador centro america. :-D

PDT. Do not speak English, as translated by google so I apologize if you do not understand something:lol:

Time to beat this dead horse with the update-stick!

Some of you may have seen my "what front suspension should I...blablabla"

in different part of the forum. For some, this will be (partly) a re-run from a

post made yesterday.

I don't think there will be a double wishbone setup due to regulations. A double

wishbone installation would probably push it over the edge from "modified" to a

less appealing "amateur built vehicle".

This would mean I'd lose the 1971 "vintage" and end up with a 2009 or what

year it is when the car is ready for The Swedish Motor Vehicle Inspection Co.

A 2009 title would mean checkups every year instead of every other and more

regulations on emissions/etc.

So, I finally got off my ass and went to Huddinge Kustoms and borrowed their

Nissan 200sx S14 front suspension. Will add pics tomorrow. Seems like it'll be a

good fit though. It's approx 1½-2" wider per side using standard arms. Looks like

the wider front ZG-flares will come in handy once they're ready... : )

Well, here are the pics!

...and if you have to ask. No. This. Isn't. Final. Installation. :)

Fantastic thread, I'm just about to watch the video's lol.

I've just bought another 260Z after a 25 year break from my first 2+2, I also scrapped one with a lot less rust than yours, And have taken the cowards way out by buying a far better car to start of with.

Good luck and I look forward to more updates.

Mull, What are the main advantages to the S14 front suspension verse the factory suspension?

Justin

I'm no chassis expert but; wider track for one... and no need for 5-lug spacers : )

The control arms are (each) about 2.75 inches longer than the stock 240z. I've been told longer is better.

I'll try remembering asking someone who knows ^_^

Philip,

Can you post the missing vids in avi format on your mull~index?

What missing vids?

I've more or less abandoned the avi format in favor of HD-wmv since video #17 or something... : )

Convert the wmv's to DVD?

Oh yes, since about #17 no more AVIs.

Yes, I made DVD's...not for sale :] , using a Mac. iDVD easily recognized the AVI format, but not WMV. I just haven't found a suitable WMV>>>>> converter yet. No worries, just asking.

BTW, you are quite an entertaining video editor.
