Should i buy it

as long as you're planning on stripping it down, wasting hundreds of hours on rust repair, frame rail replacement, cutting, grinding, welding and bodywork... and THEN doing the interior, then yeah, it's a good deal.

Otherwise I'd find a shell in more decent condition if I were you. Sometimes it's worth to pay more. It looks like you'd be buying rust with a car on the side

well i was planning on redoing the interior the only thing i dont want to spend an arm and a leg on just repairing the rust so is it really expensive to just repair rust and is there some places that are harder/more expensive to fix on the car

I'd not go a couple states away to tow that one home. Just the amount of rust in the spare tirewell area would make me run. Looking at the fender where they bolt to the uni-body is an indicator of what you'll find on the underside of the car.

I'd bet the floor pans and rails, battery box, and rear hatch/ tail light area are suffering as well...

"Run Forrest Run" away from this one! :lmao:

Yeah I definetly agree, do a search for Mull on here and hes repair of the "rust free" Z he had bought. With that car you would be looking at the same amount of work Im sure.

Now if you were close it would be worth it to make some money on some parts, but as a resto project, unless you have loads of time and a bit of cash, this isnt for you.

dude, i bought a car that was in way worse condition than this. i had no prior experience just a willingness to learn and a desire to drive a zcar! lol. seriously though i almost have all the parts to make my car complete and ive only spent 4grand including car. but ive done all the work myself. that includes rebuilt cylinder head 280zx motor low miles body panels megasquirt fabbed up twin turbo manifold (no turbos yet) floors and rails. id definately say go for it! look at my site and see what mine was like when i started out.
