Cherry Bomb

I've got some sort of carbon fiber 2.5 straight through pipe at the back of the car(freind GAVE it to me) with straight pipe from the down pipe.

I just put a "Cherry Bomb" in the middle of the car just under the seats, and it sounds pretty good! nice deep tone. Best $16.95 I ever spent.

You do know though that they shrink the diameter inside of the cherry bomb, so now your bottle neck is at that cherry bomb muffler.

If you wanted something to quiet it a bit you should go with a bullet type muffler from magnaflow or the like.

I put one of them on my car a few years ago. That was the most power robbing thing I ever did.. it sux.

Nice sound... but it just sucked the power right out of the car.

Think about it. $16.95, minus tax, minus the store's profit, minus the middle-man's cut, minus the manufacturer's profit. How much did it cost to make thing? What kind of quality could it possibly have?

I put a three inch straight pipe on mine going to a Megan Racing 3" inlet 4" outlet straight through muffler. No restriction anywhere. This is best for my current turbo setup.

When I had a V-8, I had dual 2.5" exhausts all the way back with 4" blue turbo glasspacks. They are very similar to the $16.95 cherry bomb only a bigger inlet and through passage. You may want to check into one of them. They are blue not red and probably cost $19.95 instead of $16.95.
