Joedatsun
I looked on HKS's website and saw no listings for Nissan gaskets. I'm looking for a 2mm to go with my 87mm pistons. Do they still make these? If so, who sells them? Are the MSA 1mm& 2mm gaskets HKS products?
1 fast z
MSA, nissan, etc. There the same thing.

They have the HKS gaskets. I don't know wether or not the ones MSA sells are HKS, but I believe courtesy are cheaper?
240Z_Master
I don't think they ever made them... http://www.hks-power.co.jp/products/engine/metal/metal.html

240Z_Master
You are going to pay a nice premium on those gaskets though, just letting you know.
Joedatsun
Yeah, I think the HKS ones will work just fine.
240Z_Master
Yeah, I think the HKS ones will work just fine. Like I said, HKS doesn't make one, not even on the Japan site.

pjo046
Yes, well at least on the bottom of that product page it says HKS. That's were I got my 1mm HKS gasket.
thehelix112
I dare say its not a HKS gasket, its a Nismo head gasket. I can't see Nissan having PNs for HKS stuff, can you? Dave
AKWIKZ
The head gasket Nissan carries is indeed an HKS. There were two Nismo head gaskets for the L28. One was an O-ring type that are now NLA from everything I have found. If anyone is interested, the part number is 11044-E4621 for the gasket and 11045-N3120 for the O rings. Then, there is a .6mm gasket with a part number of 11044-E4623. There is still a Nismo head gasket for the L24/L26 though. The part number for this is 11044-E4620. Nissan Motorsports carries the HKS gaskets and lists them in a Nissan part number. I ordered three a few years back and they all came in a Nissan bag but were HKS units. These are 91mm bore. Here are the part numbers for them. The 1mm is 11044-91MM1. The 2mm is 11044-91MM2. I have managed to build a decent collection of Nissan literature and this includes Nissan Motorsports catalogs all the way back to the early '80's (when they were still called Datsun Competition). I'd be happy to look up numbers for anyone. Also, my personal experience has been to go directly through Nissan ans avoid MSA completely. I also get a 20% discount at my local Nissan if anyone needs a part. Hope this helps some. Brian
thehelix112
Awesome work Brian. I stand corrected. Would you confirm that the stock L28ET head gasket is: 11044-P7911 ? Thanks, Dave
RB26powered74zcar
Every HKS layered metel headgasket I ever bought came in a bag with the Nissan part # on it also...
