Mycarispurty
Check out these 15x10s on Ebay. I might put down a bid and get me these. Of course then the pain in the butt part is finding someone selling 2 15x7s or something for the front http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DATSUN-NISSAN-240-260-300Z-5-Slot-Slotted-Mag-Wheels_W0QQitemZ4615760922QQcategoryZ34209QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Guest ON3GO
ya saw those, pretty cool. mike
Mycarispurty
Those are right at the correct backspacing for the Z, they'd just poke out some. I bet the ZG flares or similar would cover those right up. Dare me to bid...c'mon
JMortensen
MSA has 15x7's for the front. I don't think a 7" works too good with a 10" out back, but if you're just drag racing maybe it would be OK. http://www.zcarparts.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=25-1087&Category_Code=WWC13
Mycarispurty
What would be the correct size tire to run on a wheel that wide? Like 275ish?
Guest ON3GO
ive seen anything from 225 to 315.. 255 to 275 would be the norm though.. mike
Mycarispurty
Eh, on 2nd thought, I don't think they'd look as cool with the correct size sidewall tire as opposed to what's on in the pictures, which is probably a 40 or 45 series. Once I got back up to the 55 or 60, I don't think they'd look cool at all.
Guest 73Turbo240z
i'd rock em... someone buy my wheels/tires and i will!
v8dats
those would stick out too far with that backspacing. even with zg's! from what i have gathered if you want to fit some 15x10 wheels with some zg's you will need a 5.5b.s and yes coil overs. check out stony's car i believe he's using draglites. try a search. not trying to bash you just trying to save you from buying something that you wouldnt be happy with. Mycarispurty
Yea, I can't even find any cool looking tires in sizes that I want...oh well, I'll let someone else have them.
Z-Gad
17x10's I have on the rear of my Z didn't require coilovers and just fit inside the ZG flare. I remember looking at some 15x10's a little while ago, but ran into tire choice problems... There aren't a lot of options for a wide 15" street tire. Hypertek
how about the new sport max wheels?? Id love to see someone with these.. could steal the spotlight from the Konigs.. these are better size too! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Sport-Max-Racing-P002-15x8-0-Offset-Corolla-AE86-S13-xB_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ43955QQitemZ8038590762QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
Mycarispurty
I like those. I wish they made a 16" size though, I don't really care for 15s much unless they're exceptional.
v8dats
mike i forgot about your 17x10's and how they fit! so i guess oops! i stand corrected!what offset or backspacing are you running?
Hypertek
I like those. I wish they made a 16" size though, I don't really care for 15s much unless they're exceptional. I hear they might release 16x8 0 offset.. so hopefully those come out heheh
v8260
i'd rock em... someone buy my wheels/tires and i will! how much?
Guest 73Turbo240z
how much? lol now that the auctions ended that could be a hard sell, but i guess if i got enough i could go after some pana's or other 16" wheel for these dunlops i have in the garage.... regardless my current setup is: 15x7 enkie 92's (as seen in the me vs. T/A video) and brand new BFG G-force Sports in a 225/60/15 (also as seen in the me vs. T/A) Wheels ran me $400 before shipping, tires were $400 before shipping, and i had them mounted/balanced/valve stems/etc... which was however much, i'd have to dig up the reciept... if someone likes them bad enough an $800 + shipping offer could dissuade me to spend even more money looking for panasports, otherwise it's just not worth it. not to mention, i've gotten a ton of compliments on them, so i'm starting to get emotionally attached lol.
