SHO-Z
I am thinking about picking up some Mustang take off rims and tires for my 260. They are 17 x 8†with 45 mm offset with 235/55/17 tires. I was looking at 4 to 5 bolt adapters that are 32 mm thick so offset will end up at 13 mm. I do have coil overs on the car. Does anyone know if these will fit? zguitar71
Very big diameter. You would need coilovers and probably a 235/45/17 not a 55.
SSflyer
I'd go with a lower tire profile...
Thumper
For a street driven car I would not go lower than a 45 profile tire. If possible 55. You will bend your rims very easily. Coilovers will be a must.
RB26powered74zcar
I run 235/45/17 on my Z right now with 40mm + OS and two piece adaptor/ spacers and coilovers. I had to trim the front valance at the bottoms because the tires rubbed while turning. The rear, I had to file the underside lip a tad at the upper arch, due to scraping during big dips in road... Guest zfan
245/45-17's with no coilovers etc. on my 1971 240Z. Funny though as 255/50-16 Mickey Thompson drag radials will not fit and I just rolled the lips and installed 8" coil overs...sucks! Rides real nice though!
