DavyZ
Nice but god LS1s are ugly without their plastic covers. LOL! Yeah, I feel the same way, but the awesome nature of the engines goes a long way to minimizing any negative feelings I have for them!!! And that V8 is certainly one I could live with in a Z car!!! Thanks for posting the pictures. Davy

DavyZ
Anyone know who sells the 90 degree part of the intake that attaches to the TB??? I see them on cars, but I don't know what company sells them. Crapola. Davy
DaleMX
That is great! I love the Chevelle, and the LS1. It's a perfect combination.
tfreer85
Davy, in my How to Modify your LS1 book, they say that GM Performance parts offers that entire setup for the top-mount intake, and TB. I'll get the book out if i can find it, and post the part number. Tyson
DavyZ
REALLY?!? I need to buy the book too!! Tyson, if you find the part #'s please post 'em. Gracias. Davy
tfreer85
Okay the part number is PN 88958675 but that seems to only be the open intake manifold, not the elbow or TB. So, not that much help unfortunately. The book is, good, it gives a good history of the motor and how it came about along with some good HP builds. IMO it wasn't the "BEST" book for engine building/modifying, and is kind of dated. Hope that helps, i'll try to find more about the elbow thing. Tyson
Sparks280zt
tim240z made a post about that whole pastic elbow set up somewhere, might wanna PM him
tfreer85
Well, see its not a plastic setup which is why I thought it would be different. I asked on LS1tech.com and the told me here http://www.wilsonmanifolds.com/ go to buy online, then throttle body accessories and scroll down. Cast just like what you were looking for Davy.
