Damn. Makes me feel pretty good about buying that LS2 crate motor, I should get the whole swap done, with all new parts, for only $500 more than that guy wants for a used motor

There's no way I'd ever pay that kind of money for a motor...new or used. Even dumping $5k into the motor itself makes my sphinctor clinch up, and its real easy to go way over that mark (build an AMC motor and you'll find out real quick).

 

I have a couple friends who are claims adjusters for large insurance companies so they're keeping an eye out for me. I'm hoping for a LS6 (or if I'm real lucky a LS7), but I'll settle for a totaled LS2 equipped car if the price and miles are right.
