darkzebra
I bought a barb-type fuel rail from Pallnet. When I screw in the "nipples" at the ends and for each injector, what do I use to get a good seal so there is no fuel leak? I thought of teflon thread tape but I don't think that is gas-resistant
pallnet
I have tried many different sealants before coming to the conclusion that JB Weld is the best for the job. It works awesome for sealing the threads and you can remove the fittings later on with no issues. Once the fittings are installed with the JB Weld leave em sit and do not move them, the seal will be made. There is a carmaker out there that uses the same substance for sealing just as I do so, it's not uncommon.
nismopick
AutoZone sells several diff fuel line thread sealants... I can't remember the name of the one I used, but it's a white paste like RTV. It was about $2/tube.
