IdfMF
Hi All, I am installing the Modern Motorsports rear disc conversion on my 240Z. I need to buy the 240SX rear calipers. Does any one know of a good source for these parts in the San Francisco Bay Area? Thanks, Tom

GeeZ
I just had this problem. Called all over Houston (3mil people, 5mil junk yards or it seemed). Go to Oreilly's or Autozone. You need the "loaded" calipers which has all the necessary parts including the "hangars" and throw away the pads. I spent weeks

nismopick
I spent weeks calling junk yards. Buying new is a good idea... but next time, instead of calling 5mil junk yards... use http://www.car-parts.com
rudypoochris
In Hayward there is a JY road. They will pick them for you in about 5 minutes. The cost is $25 total, when I went any way. I can;t remember the name of JY road, believe it is winton, depot, or something similar. Look up the pick your part in hayward, it is near bye. GeeZ
Buying new is a good idea... but next time, instead of calling 5mil junk yards... use www.car-parts.com[/url'] I used this site, but after you call you still must go by and look. Several had them pulled without the "hangars". I found one pair intact on the car and bought those. I used the pair as cores to get rebuilt "unloaded" rebuilt calipers and swapped the parts I needed off the junk yard parts. It cost my two weeks time but it didn't cost my any more $. Even if you use the junk yard parts you still need to rebuild the calipers.
