Pop N Wood
http://www.borgeson.com/products.htm I also noticed MikeKZ put in an extra u joint. Might try contacting him. A couple of other guys said speed shops and/or tractor supply companies carry steering shaft U joints. summit carries steering joints and support bearings Shouldn't be hard to figure out how to do it once you have the hardware. Just make sure you solid mount the support bearing. Look at the tech info on the borgenson site.
JMortensen
As Pop said, you need another U joint. The heim joint just supports the steering shaft in a race car (like the steering column does in ours), but it doesn't allow it to pivot, so that is not what you need. Here's a link to the race stuff with heims: http://www.stockcarproducts.com/steer5.htm
heavy85
The '02 Camaro I'm parting out has the factory set-up with an intermetiate steering shaft with no support what so ever. Steering column / u-joint / intermediate shaft (just hanging in the air) / u-joint / steering rack. Obviously I was a little surprised when I saw this.
