turboboost
I dont know where to post this, but here is my newly bought 280zx. Try to guess how much I paid for it... Here are the specs: 1979 Datsun 280zx 2.8 Litre Inline 6 5 speed Borg-Warner w/ short throw kit Cold air intake Here are the things it needs: Battery Front Valence Some Bodywork And a hole in the gas tank needs to be fixed. Ill probably be trying to save up until I have enough money to do a good restore job. Also, how much do you think this is worth?

Guest 280ZForce
it appears to be missing the cold air intake you speak of, and also I don't see an exhaust manifold there either. interior looks to be in good shape though. Maybe paid around $700?

Stealth-Z
Any time I see one of these "How much is it worth" questions, I refer to a friends saying. "The Ultimate value of any car is, How much does it weigh?"

slownrusty
How does that car have a Borg and Warner in it? Also I do not want to burst your excitement but rather be a realist. Please check your car thoroughly for rust, you do not say how many miles are on the car? Canadian weather and Japanese cars from the '80s, especially the early '80s (and before) DO NOT mix. These cars literally crumble due to poor rust protection done by manufacturers during the '70s-'8-s and also due to the adverse weather in Canada. You might have scored a cheap car but can spend a small fortune on bodywork and paint - or teach yourself to weld! I lived in Ontario for 15+years and saw what the winters did to my Datsuns, Nissans and Toyotas - not pretty. Yasin

badjuju
"Bob I am bidding 1 dollar". -Scene from the The Price is Right the day when i quote "the price is right"... lol man it sounds like a great buy, I can't see the pics cause I'm on a "censored" computer, but $200 for a running (it is running, right?) car is pretty great. Glad to have another among us.
