OvErMiNd
I'd like to see some wire tucked engine bays. I'm doing mine when I'm at the body shop and I was looking for ideas since I'll be doing it with little help. Thanks!
240hoke
mine is pretty tucked I jsut have one wire loom coming from the firewall for my EMS. The rest I ran through the kickpanel into the fenderwell. I wanted it to be clean, functional, and easy to get to so I didnt go all out but its a good bit cleaner then stock. Kinda hard to see in this picture but youcan see the tucked loom under the fuel rail and the uncluttered fenders. I hate wiring on the fenders. OvErMiNd
Your car is similar to the color I'm getting. To be honest, I was trying to match your color, haha. Looks great man, hopefully mine will too. = )

LineC
Wow 240hoke looks like you have wireless injectors Have to say the black I never even imagined but it gives your engine a very hard look. I like it better then polished. BTW what wiring is going through the sleeve on top of the thermostat housing?
240hoke
Thanks, thats what I was going for. I got the Idea after seeing some porshe race engines in corky bell's book. That wiring is for the hall sensor down thur on the crank pulley.
Roostmonkey
I gotta say Austin, you've got one of the best looking turbo engine bays out there. I thought mine looked pretty good until I walked over and saw yours at ZDAYZ last year. Very tasteful and all business.Hope to see it again this year. Its given me some ideas on setting up my RB swap. Sparks280zt
One time I was at Austins and eating a sandwich and I dropped it into his engine bay. BUT, I just picked that sucker back up and ate it anyway because his engine bay is so clean! harhar
phil280zxt
Looks like I have some work to do... Nice job 240Hoke!!
veritech-z
It's a work in progress, and I've posted it once or twice, but.... It's no 240hoke, but I'm working on it...(also, I don't have the wiring all on in this pic (doh!) so I guess it doesn't really fit the bill. I'll take one tomorrow with all wiring in place)
OvErMiNd
Hotness. Thanks for the replies! I'm sure I won't be able to do something that fancy, but I'll try! I'm going to have the best z EvAr! lmao Now all I have to do is sell this honda s2000....
z-ya
Hear is what my engine compartment looked like shortly after completion. Still too many wires IMO.
OlderThanMe
Very clean engine bays guys!!! I ran my wiring under the fender hidden just outboard of the cabin air vent tube thingy. On the passenger side I ran the wiring inside the cabin vent tube. Perfectly hidden from view. I am still running loomed wires in the engine bay but it is 80% less than stock and none along the frame rails.

cygnusx1
Factory 83 Turbo Cleaned up and swapped: Pretty but still lots of room for improvement: Basically, you need to go with a new fuel rail and non-factory fuel and ignition control to get it real clean.
