SSflyer
Spent a week of tearing apart the wiring harness and I finally figured out there was a bad ignition relay ground. Got that fixed and it started in about 1 second. After three years of reading about all the other LS1's hitting the road I finally got to hear one run. Geez what a rush! Maybe another couple weeks finishing details and I'll get to drive one too!

Jelloman457
This is a very big noob question but I couldnt find it when searching. Do you guys (ls1 swapped 240z's) have to change much on the wiring harness? thanks
deja
Awesome, glad you found it. Missing/bad grounds and be a PITA to find sometimes.
SSflyer
In my case I kept the whole Camaro wiring harness and modified it to fit the Z-car. The only place I had to splice in Datsun stuff is at the taillights. Otherwise it was just a matter of extending or shortening wires to make everything fit, or removing wires I was no longer going to use. The down side is that I had to buy all GM parts, (fans, horns, wipers, steering column, power seat, etc.) and that got a little expensive. The's lots of guys here who used only the LS1 engine controls and stayed with the Datsun harnesses.
