Sorry, I tried to take these photos with my digital camera, but when I got up there it decided it didn't want to work. So I had to take these with my crappy cell phone camera.

What do you guys think...should I change all the chrome to black?

I usually like keeping the chrome on Z's, I think it looks better, and everyone always seems to dump black paint all over their cars. However, I think yours will look better blacked out, since it nearly is, anyway. Looks very nice. :)

don't cut corners. you will spend double the time painting and repainting. If you spent good money on paint then at least finish the job the right way.

A rattle can will not stick. end of story. by powdercoating you will have a surface that will be a hell of a lot more resiliant to chipping or scratching.

Just pull it off and wipe it down with paint thinner or prep solvent. The powder coater will take care of any other prep to get the best finish..

If you decide to paint it you'll need to scrub it with a scuff pad or fine steel wool. Wipe it down with thinner or prep solvent. Spray it with a self etching primer and then Satin black. But no matter how you paint it, it will not hold up like powdercoating.
