280zx_sliding Posted April 5, 2007 Share Posted April 5, 2007 Well guys ive just came acros a deal i cannot give up. i can get a 2005 gto 6.0. well what i was wandering is what are the similarities between the ls2 mounts and the common 350 mounts. the ls2 already has well built heads. so i really want this engine. i know the driver side headers have to be custom made. and im pretty sure the mounts also have to be custom made. unless the 280z and 280zx mounts are the same. then i can get the ones made for the ls2/280z. also my car has a r200 diff and i know i need a camaro drive shaft shortened and with the new rear yoke. so any help would be needed on this swap. m1noel Posted April 5, 2007 Share Posted April 5, 2007 I know that the 280Z mounts will not work in the zx. I don't think anyone makes a zx LSx mount yet.
