Had to add this one "Cars" by Gary Numan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cdgTWitj_o

EMWHYR0HEN
When I want to DRIVE, I pop in a Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Metallica or Rage Against the Machine CD, then turn up the volume. I find it hard to listen to slower music when driving the Z.....
tannji
I can't believe anyone would pull out Mercedes Benz! LOL... kinda speaks to some of my more liberal roots... I heard a LOT of Joan Baez, Pete Seeger, Guthrey, et-al as a kid... and then spent pre-teen to early high school years in an extremely conservative and reclusive religion. Oldies were reluctantly allowed, Elvis was "Perverse", and Helter Skelter got the radio shut off. On the bright side, I was spared the worst of the late 70's Disco and Glam Rock = ) Talk about a warped perspective... now my mother speaks longingly of the days when she would scam the keys to my 240 V8Z and go get groceries or cruise down to the beach for walks. (she settles for browsing HybridZ on occasion, LMAO)

Starts off with Real Gone - Sheryl Crow Route 66 - Chuck Berry Life is a Highway - Rascal Flatts Those make my list too for things to put on while cruisin with the top down. 283VZ
Mark Knopfler: Speedway At Nazareth lyrics After two thousand came two thousand and one To be the new champions we were there for to run From springtime in Arizona 'til the fall in Monterey And the raceways were the battlefields and we fought 'em all the way Was at Phoenix in the morning I had a wake-up call She went around without a warning put me in the wall I drove Long Beach, California with three cracked vertebrae And we went on to Indianapolis, Indiana in May Well the Brickyard's there to crucify anyone who will not learn I climbed a mountain to qualify I went flat through the turns But I was down in the might-have-beens and an old pal good as died And I sat down in Gasoline Alley and I cried Well we were in at the kill again on the Milwaukee Mile And in June up in Michigan we were robbed at Belle Isle Then it was on to Portland, Oregon for the G.I. Joe And I'd blown off almost everyone when my motor let go New England, Ontario we died in the dirt Those walls from mid-Ohio to Toronto they hurt So we came to Road America where we burned up at the lake But at the speedway at Nazareth I made no mistake

zeeboost
Looks like I'm the only metal head in here. The mp3 disc usually played in my v8 280zx consists mostly of: Disarmonia Mundi, Still Remains, Unearth, Chimaira, Diecast, Threat Signal, Bury Your Dead, Bleed the Sky, Darkest Hour, It Dies Today, Soilwork, In Flames, etc. Rage Against the Machine, Soulfly, and White Zombie usually do a pretty good job of bringing out the speedier side of me. BTW, I'll be seeing Rage in California this summer - can't freaking wait!!
