ZXR_KiD Posted December 16, 2009 Share Posted December 16, 2009 thats my kind of ride! although MINE isn't that quick, but I have learned that 300ish hp is about the limits of worn out stock N/A trannies. car was my daily through college, original trans had 300k+ on it and lost 3rd and 5th on the way home, tossed in a j/y tranny and exploded 2nd gear on the dragstrip a couple months later (tires bit AS the clutch bit and something had to break) the pass before it broke was a 14.2 though, so it wasn't too bad for a motor with headers and a cam that was too much for the stock efi. proved multiple times that the rusty lil 280ZX that all my classmates made fun of WAS indeed the highest top end and best handling car of anyone on campus, including the instructors *STREET* cars, they have RACE cars that would eat me alive Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
