veritech-z Posted June 20, 2007 Share Posted June 20, 2007 I think Maximas are the ultimate sleeper and in about 5 years people will be building tons of sleeper maximas with turbo motors. The only thing sleepy-er than that would be a Cressida with a 7m-gte, or maybe a mirage hatchback with a 4g63 in it (there was a whole club full of guys with that exact car here in tampa for awhile, but the "head" or whatever actually imported himself a real live Evo III to drive after he sold the mirage) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Datsun 810 (1977-80) N47 head is similar to the one found on the later 280Z except for the smaller exhaust valve. The Maxima (1981-84) N47 head was redesigned and Nissan changed the combustion chamber from a dome-wedge shape to a wedge shape with a better quelch volume.
