The previous owner of my car installed them on my 240Z. He bought the entire setup. Camber plates, coilovers, and tokiko 5 ways from Motorsport. I had the alignment shop set them up for street/canyon carving and they work fine. I have had a few guys question if only 2 bolts to hold them to the strut towers would be safe, but so far, they have been great. The only complaint is that they are solid mounts so the are a bit harsh over larger bumps. It doesn't look like there were any mods to get them installed. Clifton Posted July 8, 2007 Share Posted July 8, 2007 If you can weld I would do the technotoy style ones. It is much easier for quick adjustment, espcially at autoX between runs. You can change the camber on the weld in style on all 4 corners in less time than you can do one of the msa style ones. I run those camber plates. They work great and truly bolt right in. No mods. Quality cnc parts indeed. The fronts have torrington bearings for steering movements. And I agree with Clifton adjustments are more difficult for racing but for the street they are fine. In my opinion after installing the noise or ride harshness difference if any is next to nothing substantial. You may be able to still buy the camber plates direct from DP Racing and probably save some money than what MSA sells them for in the complete kit.
