Roostmonkey
Got me a shippment yesterday, A nice shiny SR20det Blacktop with tranny and all the fixins. So far, I'm very pleased with what I got.Karim did everything he said he would and then some. Great guy to deal with. Heres a few pics from Japan prior to shipment and this IS the exact motor I recieved. I emphasize that because you always hear about guys getting some engine other than what was advertised and then you never know if the compression/leakdown tests are really from the motor you recieved. Roostmonkey
still hanging around waiting to get the time to drop it in ( hopefully today )
Roostmonkey
Its in...now I can see whats needed to get it all to fit.Surprisingly, the the stock SR motor mounts lined up with the trucks mounts and dropped right on.The mounts need to be cut and welded to get the proper angle so they sit flat to one another.I'm going to need a tiny altenator , does anyone know of a particularly small alt? Ive heard that a sm tractor unit will work.Anyway, its nice to make some progress.

Pete84
Very clean engine! Hope that it is as good on the inside, for all the boost that will [inevitably] be run on it
Roostmonkey
I hope its as good inside as well. It tested at 160 psi += across the board, the turbo has no play per the finger quage and everything is clean and tight.
