aziza z
yea i cant wait to get it fired up. im going to use the speartech wiring harness for engine management (just got to save up that harness is really expensive). The radiator is the ls1 jtr one.
aziza z
Since the last post, ive put on the alternator belt, the intake ducting (need some minor stuff to be done to that thou), one of the radiator hoses, sump tank and most of the fuel system. here are a few pics. STUFF I STILL NEED TO DO: 1-Finish fuel plumbing 1-Wiring harness 2-Brakes/brake lines 3-Exhaust 4-Some misc interior stuff 5-few other tiny things almost there. im still going to shorten and reroute the hoses a little better so its not so obvious back there. aziza z
i mentioned in a different thread i might get a diffuser or somehow paint all those fittings and hoses black that go into the sump. I don't mind it really but its a street car and that might catch unwanted attention.
aziza z
update: i ditched the sump tank and went with an ls1 tank instead. Here are some progress pics. just need to finish brakes and exhaust and a few little things and we should be good to go. heres some pics. (excuse the wiring, its not quite done yet)

Can't wait to see more pics and maybe a vid or two. It should all come together pretty fast now. Mike
EvilC
The car is looking really good! What time frame are you looking at to have it "done"? That PDK bar looks sweet too, a must for my car. Keep it up!

VinhZXT
You could have flipped the fuel rail to shorten the fuel feed line and will help clean up the fire wall a bit. I flipped mine and it looks a lot cleaner. Look good. V.

I flipped mine and it looks a lot cleaner. Look good.V. nice. i like that idea. thing is, that corner is already a pain cause its hard enough to get the battery out as it is with the strut bar. oh well. maybe on the next ls1 swap haha. smoorenc
Do your engine braces block the battery bad? Or do they remove easily enough? Your swap is so nice looking! GREAT job. You are so far ahead of my swap. I have parts everywhere.. haha I have about everything I need for the swap. I am waiting on the custom roll bar to be fabricated/welded into the car now. Next the fenders cut out for wider tires and the flares mounted. Then off to the body shop. There is a 510 in line in front of me thats being completed now. I have done about all I can do by myself. I can't weld at all, so I am waiting.... www.4moores.com/280z

aziza z
smoorenc: yes the brace is a bitch to get off and the battery cannot be taken out without getting the brace out of the way. LS1 240Z:ill snap a pic of the headers today.
