I'm telling you from experience that it AIN'T CHEAP, and that the parts available to do the OTHER swap are cheaper... This is from experience... Nothing more. Cal Poly Zmanaustin Posted September 20, 2007 Share Posted September 20, 2007 Another option you can use is to bore out 280Z rear housing to accept Z31 stub axles then use the Z31 adaptor flange for the Z31 half shafts. You would need to shorten the half shafts also. Very strong and will bolt together nicely. This is the route I went and it seems to work well. And you still end up with the open diff which was the biggest thing I am trying to eliminate. I ended up moving down the Q45 R200 path. Q45 diff, Q45 CV's, MM companion flanges, MM axles.
