lowdown
As i'm putting together my Z and started to get the wiring and pluming done on the turbo motor. I have new injectors but at some point lost the plastic hold downs and the fuel rail. Since I have to buy the plastic parts and a fuel rail should I just go ahead and get another larger injector instead of doing this later? From what I remember years ago people were using some sort of ford injector was easy to get to work and it was cheap good mod to do. Any suggestions? JSM
You need to tell us what u currently our running first. If you're using stock everything like your signature pic is and plan to keep it that way then why change. What are your goals and what do u plan on doing? lowdown
Right now its pretty much a stock turbo setup. Plans is allot but i'm doing all the brakes/suspension stuff first. (done it the other way in the past and ended up with a quick car that didn't stop well. LOL) I guess i'll just keep the stock injectors for now. Anyone have a good place to get the plastic hold down thingys for the stock injectors? Thanks Phil

ktm
Check ebay for the injector holders. There is a seller that has billet aluminum holders to replace the plastic ones.

Yes and he is based in Austin too I believe. I bought a set of these holders from him (powder coated red) and they are beautiful! lowdown
I have to buy some new connectors for the injectors also. Are there 6 or 7. ok, i know only 6, but since i'm new to this dayum injector stuff isn't there one connector on a cold start valve? I'd just go look but i'm at home trying to order stuff and the cars at my shop. (ok i feel kind of dumb asking this. LOL) Thanks Phil
Brad-ManQ45
I believe there are a total of 10 of those connectors on ZXT's...
pallnet
Although I like making $$, this reply is not for that... It's my understanding that there is a reason Nissan went FROM aluminum and plastic injector holders TO 100% plastic. The aluminum pces that are being sold on Ebay are beautiful but I'm pretty sure the plastic acts like an insulator.
