DrEaM
so i went to 18racing.com one of the only sites that i found really usefull for z specific wheel sizes in the wheel thread or whatever and i was wondering will these fit under the wheel well although they have a +04 offset.. i'm under the impression that the wider you go the more negative of an offset i would need with my bolt pattern but i'm not sure about if a +04 offset would prevent these wheels from fitting.. as of right now my car is sitting b/c my mag rims are all wobbled out and i don't feel safe driving them the way they are so anyways i'm jus wondering the wheels are 17x7.5 and they also have a set that are 17x8.5 with a +04 offset

RedNeckZ
From what I can see. You will need some spacers for it to fit. But I don't know everything about your Z. If you have coil-overs and camber plates, it will change some. I have 16" by 7" rims on my Z now with the same back spacing. I have a 1" spacer on mine. Only have lowering springs on it. TravRMK
with a 04 offset you should be fine, that is only 4mm more offset that the original. And 7.5" seem to fit nice without much hassle. A 1" spacer would most likely have some fender clearance issues.
DrEaM
cool, all i have done suspension wise is tokico illumina shocks and springs so i guess you could say everything else is stock... i don't think i would need spacers i think if anything they would stick out even more with the spacers on. rudypoochris
You really ought to read the forum rules. Not trying to be a Nazi, but you double posted a moment ago on the 2jz v. RB and clearly didn't search on this one. BUT... good news, I'm organizing a group buy on the RB's in the "Group Buy" section if you are interested. Also, I believe Bartman has some experience with the 17x8.5" +
DrEaM
yeah my bad on the whole double post thing, i really wasn't trying to start any problems but i did search the forums about wheel sizes and offsets but i can never seem to find a clear answer on what will and wont fit under our stock fenders and what wheels actually work on our cars.. i think in the near future i'll be spending a few HOURS/DAYS searching this site for all the good info and trying to put it all in one thread... it seems like i get on this site sometimes and i'm just searching for 30-40 minutes b4 i ever find what i'm looking for.. its kinda frustrating but i understand that i need to search the forum more so i will my bad.. rudypoochris
Try different keywords. For instance "Rota RB". Instantly in one search that would have found you all of the information you would probably need and some.
johnc
but i can never seem to find a clear answer on what will and wont fit under our stock fenders and what wheels actually work on our cars. And you never will because there are so many variables. Ride height Camber Rotor diameter Hub offset Bolt pattern Stud length Brake caliper OEM springs Coil overs (8", 10", 12", 2.25" OD, 2.5" OD) Stock fender Flared fenders Muffler You have to measure and figure it out for your particular car. If you're looking for easy answers, there aren't any.
