mario_82_ZXT
What an awesome response to such a vague question! Get a Haynes manual and an FSM. Search the forums first, then post a question if you can't find it. Welcome! Mario

bschiltz
Was the engine swapped from a later ZX or just a turbo added to the stock L28?
Guest jeffrey
it has the origanal engine in it. the body is as cleen as an arrow. but the enterior is thrashed.
mikeatrpi
79 didn't come with a turbo from the factory. Edit - I realize this statement isn't necessarily contradicting yours. It could be an original NA engine with a turbo added. Anyway - post some pictures!
Guest jeffrey
im really not sure the guy i bought it from said it was a 79 it looks like a 79 but it also looks like a 81.
savageskaterkid
79-83 all look the same. Check your vin numbers, if it was anything like my 81' ZX I had, The engine was a 79', the dash was 81', the doors were 80', everything was mix-matched. Probably a swap, as more people do those then the N/a-t
