rustrocket
I found vq motor ridiculously cheap, but i's from fwd. A search revealed that the motor will bolt up to a 350z trans, but i'm curious as to what's different internally that accounts for less horsepower in the fwd versions. Do they have the same horsepower potential? I did aquick search, but found nothing. Please link to a thread if i overlooked it. Thanks! nbesheer
I think that the cams are different, seems like the easiest cheepest way to reduce horsepower.
big B
Off subject but I hear the most of the 240sx guys are using the fwd block due to better mount locations.
Pete84
http://www.engineswaptech.com/forums/thread/151.aspx Good forum / thread to start, they know alot of details on the VQ series and how to swap them.
patzky1
Well, obviously the I/E are different and that makes a difference. As for cams, they're a little less radical for the fwd applications, but other than that the internals are identical.
jknc90
I have a set of stock 350z cams with about 30k on them if you need them.
