How much have you spent on your S30?

1800 bucks for a 75 280Z (auto) 600 bucks for all new brakes, 400 bucks for two 280zx parts cars, one 83 Turbo auto with 72k miles, one 81 5speed. Still doing the Turbo swap on my original N42 motor. Also doing the Z31 ECU swap at the same time. Got an 87T ECU for 55 bucks off ebay, and a free MAF from my dad, who has multiple Z31 parts cars.

 

Thank goodness I havnt spent all of that. The brakes and half the car were paid for by my dad.

 

I, personally, have 1350 in my car, and its an S30 turbo, not bad I think.

I've posted many times that I'm just south of $35,000. You want to see big numbers, just go to the Chevy V8 forum and read threads on how much did your conversion cost.....Enough said....

Im in the high 20s and and will be well into the 30s when I complete the final body rebuild. At that point the car will be "perfect" by my requirments.

 

And as Larry pointed out there are many other groups that spend WAY more. Look at the street rods and custom scene. A friend of mine has well over $100K in a 40 something Ford. Looks great, faster then all heck (in a straight line) but doesnt do well with long trips.
