NCchris
Simple tool I made to align my strut tubes for welding. Nothing more than two pieces of angle. I milled the flats to make it easier to use "C" clamps. They are not required but make the whole process easier. As clamped and aligned. Ready to weld. With this setup, you can put two large spots on opposite sides. Hope this helps someone.

JMortensen
I used one piece of angle iron and hose clamps. Worked great.
Cobra_Tim
You still want to alternate your welding spots so you dont warp the tube.
wigenOut-S30
how much do you cut out of the tubes when sectioning? also how do the coil overs mount to the tubes after all is said and done?
olie05
how much do you cut out of the tubes when sectioning? also how do the coil overs mount to the tubes after all is said and done? Answer to the first question: How much you cut out depends on how much shorter your strut inserts are than the stock ones. (unless you use a spacer under the strut, then everything changes.) Answer to the second question: By welding a collar to the struts and placing the spring perch on top of that. Or you could use an aluminum tube over the strut housing to hold the spring perch up.
