stony
Well in my haste to get the red car done I cut up the rear 1/4 panels to make the rear tire combo fit when what I should have done was buy another set of wheels with the right offset. The rear 1/4s needed replaced anyways... they had lots of bondo. So my question is where can I get a set of steel or fiberglass fenders. I have seen the links for different places but I’m looking for more feedback on peoples experiences with the different makers. I plan on replacing the stock ¼ panels the cutting and enlarging the wheel wells maintaining the stock appearance. Thanks in advance :sour: :sour:
stony
If you'll notice I tried to leave the tabs for the over fenders but with no lip or inner fender the rear 1/4 are extremely flimsy. :
stony
anyone? maybe a relatively rust free donor car?
Dayz
Check for http://www.tabcobodyparts.com/html/table_of_contents.htm Every supplier buys from them. Not perfect, but works very well in my opinion...just in need of a tweak here and there. Dayz
doublexl240z
I had some molds made for some 1/4 panels with a very mild flare. I have them on my car, and a car in Oregon. He was real happy with fit a finish. I'm selling them for 400 a set, plus shipping. I have the fuel door, marker light and bumper holes filled. But they could be cut out. My pics are too big to post. But I can e-mail them to anyone interested. My e-mail is: laxorl at aol dot com.
