woldson
I like her overall. She gets annoying complaining about the low grade fuel and parts she want, but hey not too bad. On long trips she starts getting into politics and religion a little to much and I tell her to "knock it off" your a car, talk about car related material like HybridZ!! One day she told me that HybridZ can go pound sand if they did not like it!! Then I told her "bite your tounge if it was not for them she will not be much more than stock"!!! Outside of that she is always looking after my safty. Somewhere I've got the old disk from my 82. I wonder if you flip the disk, can not remember if it was smooth on the other side or not. Gollum
So each individual Betty unit can be toggled between multiple languages? This is a bit of a stretch, but what languages are available, do you know? I don't know if any of them can be switched or changed, but I highly doubt they're all in english. Even a Japaneses betty would be cool.
280ZX_factor
^ Got a decent laugh out of that one, Woldson. A Japanese Betty would be alright, but I'm sort of spent on all these "JDM hardcore" riceboys, so I sort of try to stay away from that sort of stuff. A German one would be cool, or French, like you said. "I woulda smoked ya'll with my Hon'Civic, but my V-Tec took too long to kick in. A new intake'll fix it." 280ZX_factor
Good question. How 'bout one? Seriously though, if you want Z models, the hobby store near my house has a great selection. I saw a ZXR model there once.
Ron
Betty unit question she worked fine, until I upgraded to an after market stereo system. I can faintly hear her, somehwere, but must be missing a wire from betty's brain to some input on the new stereo. Any suggestions on how to proceed so Betty can talk to me again? thanks ronhdds this is my 83 280m zx turbo 2+2, now completely restored, just a few final details to fix, adjust etc
FricFrac
BB actually has a tiny record inside her and that is why you can hear her - she's not hooked up to your speaker system. I just wired an old stock speaker and mounted it right beside her in the spare tire well. Check out the FSM for the wiring diagram - easy peasy!
