ZDrifter
+1 on this one. I just did the dipstick swap from front to rear and need the correct dipstick as my motor didnt come with one either. If someone can measure theres from the base of the handle to the end and give the length of the empty to fill mark then I can just make one. Careless
just noticed the last picture has the RB25DE oil dipstick in the parts list (#1). Substitute it with the numbers you see above Raff.
stony
Hey just out of curiosity is there some sort of secret language to using the part numbers you have been listing. I had part numbers for the head alignment dowels and something else that when I showed the apart number to a Nissan tech he looked at me like I was crazy

I'm pretty sure I explained how it works. sheeeeeesh, the hypocrisy in this place. <3333
stony
Care to explain how you ordered the dowl pins??? the part number you gave me is what generated that question. This... XXXXX-05U00 = RB26 parts - both late R32 and R33 parts XXXXX-42L00 = RB25 parts Dosnt seem to apply in this situation. More specifically what i was getting at is the canadian nissan parts counter different then the US since now the skyline is being imported legally???? The part number that was on the bag should have been able to be used but was not. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=133658&highlight=part+number
Careless
The reason why some of the parts numbers don't follow this format is due to the fact that the part could have been the same across all heads (42L00, or 58S00). That's my guess. so they go into the "general" pot. In that case, I use the Nissan FAST System to tell me everything, which I've posted pics of. R32's are not sold by Nissan here, unless dealership owners or sales managers choose to. Therefore, none of the dealerships should be carrying the JP (a1, a2) discs for Nissan FAST. That's why my favoured dealership's Assistant Parts manager calls me when he needs a part number from a Skyline. They won't give you the number because they cant. But they can order anything if u supply the number and whatnot.
ZDrifter
So a oil stick for my R33 Series one RB25DET would be a 11140-21U00-9308?
