Ok I just did a motor swap last week in my z31 its an 87 turbo. Its been runing ok but kinda stumbles when i get into boost it just started doing this last night. I do have a small crack in my turbo manifoild, it makes kinda of a wine when i'm about half throttle but goes away once i give it more gas. I do have a spare turbo would it be worth my while to use that one. I have cheaked for vacume leaks but so far havent found one. I do have an intercoller and bov if this helps also i did cheack for loose clamps.

Hmmmm... I'm thinking you have an ignition or fueling issue. Turbo's don't really "stumble"

Turbo's either work or they don't and there is usually a pretty obvious reason when they don't work

I would start with checking the timming. Set it to spec via the FSM. Then I would check fuel preasure under load. Maybe replace the fuel filter. Then if none of that solves the problem start looking at the AFM and all of the electrical connections on the motor. These cars are getting old and build alot of heat under that hood. Make sure all of the grounds are 100% also.
