Hello All,

I'm installing an LS1 into a 1976 280 Z.

We're at the point of firing up the motor, but not until the filter/regulator

is connected.

For those using the Corvette filter/regulator below (customer supplied),

where are you getting the quick connect adapter for point #3: Fuel Feed?

I have tried a few sources without luck. GM will only supply the entire

fuel line for an outstanding cost.

Thanks for any tips.

COOL! One of my buddies was just asking if anyone from our borad knew a place to get these.

thanks

Any local parts house that deals with Dorman products (OE Solutions) can get them for you.

www.dormanproducts.com

#800-120 - 5/16" quick connect

#800-121 - 3/8" quick connect

#800-154 - 5/16" x 12" steel fuel line

I hope that helps.

Thanks Savage, that does help.

I'll see if I can source that part locally, instead of ordering from the US.

Once I get the fittings, I'll have to get them mated to the fuel line.

The filter/regular is one assembly, so the entire unit must be replaced.

~ $40.00.

I'm not a big fan of this setup; I'd much rather use an adjustable regulator

with a seperate inline filter along with AN fittings and braided hose. A little

more expensive, but easier to tune.

I run a filter in front of the filter/regulator and will just replace that regularly...but I also run a fuel pressure guage in the car so if the regulator ever fails I'll know about it.

So what happens when it is tme to change the filter? You throw out the regulator also?

I'm lost on a source for the 800-121 part!

Nobody in town can supply it, and Dorman requires an account to

purchase their products (still waiting on info from them).

THe GM Dealership wont sell the fitting separate from the fuel line,

and they're quoting $ 316.00 + tax, and a fews days to order.

That amount is unacceptable to me and the customer I'm sure.

I could build a complete braided hose system, AN fittings and

adjustable regulator for about the same!

If anyone has a lead on where to get fitting 800-121, for a decent

price and delivery time, please post up! One of your members is

on pins and needles to get his motor started up. :burnout:

Thanks!
