Tengu3
Painless doesn't make wiring harnesses for foreign cars. Does anyone sell brand newly made wiring harnesses for the S30 240-Z ? I'd really prefer to NOT reuse my 35 year old wires if I can replace them with a newly made set. Please let me know at: mcmahon@hmss.com Thanks everyone! naviathan
Painless doesn't make wiring harnesses for foreign cars. You're kidding right? Painless is a universal harness you cut to fit your application.

1 tuff z
steve, you are certainly correct-that ebay seller [patrick] does excellent work as does another 'zswitchman' [lives in my area and restored my combo switches as well as another complete harness on a 1970 resto]. i don't think you'll find a new harness anywhere anymore. here's a link to one of zswithman's auctions. he's available for contact to work directly and warranties his jobs as well! jim, i can provide a phone number for him if you'd like. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DATSUN-71-SERIES-ONE-HEADLIGHT-WIPER-SWITCH-MINT_W0QQitemZ320275182765QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item320275182765&_trksid=p3911.m14.l1318
Tengu3
You're kidding right? Painless is a universal harness you cut to fit your application. Kidding? No, naviathan, I'm QUOTING. Dennis Diehl, a tech rep for PAINLESS said, "unfortunately we do not build any foreign car harnesses" Which is precisely what I said. I'm hoping to find a dedicated, newly fabricated, modern harness for the 240-Z. Sorry if I wasn't clear about that. "Plug-n-Play" is what I'm hoping to find, not a "universal," One-Size-Fits-None harness. Looks like zcarnut is steering me in the right direction for something like waht I'm looking for. Thanks! Thanks for the info and the link. Much appreciated. I'd done a Google search and looked on ebay. I don't know how I missed it. But I thank you for pointing it out to me. SpeedRacer
If the eBay source doesn't work out you could try Ron Francis http://wire-works.com/ Ron's wiring is a lot more popular with the Hot Rod guys than Painless Wiring is because of all the options and accessories he offers. BTW, I used the Painless 18 circuit kit on my car and it worked out great. However, it is definitely not plug & play.
