jerryb
So where did you buy the Chrysler carpet?? Looks fantastic.......I have tried different kits in the past and have never been happy. Well done! Parts - 4 yard x 60" of carpet (this will cover the whole car) I choose to go with the original theme and get loop pile. I choose the one that are in the New Chrysler 300 80$ Cdn. . madlarkin
Giorgio: Be weary of the asphalt based stuff you find at HD/Lowes. Outside of the nasty outgassing problems, asphalt based dampeners have serious longevity issues. Heat and temp cycling can cause all sorts of issues. Some people have had good long term success but it isnt uncommon to take a look a few years down the line and see the dampener melted and pooled or peeling off the car. I have personally had to clean up the mess of that once and it is not pretty. In testing it is also the least efficient in terms of material vs results, less of a good quality vinyl/butyl based damnper will go a lot further

FricFrac
Our local end-of-the-roll type carpet places have car carpets. One place had one that doesn't require binding for $8 a linear foot at 6 feet wide in black or blue. Some people have used indoor/outdoor carpet with good sucsess as well....
