Tony D
Nobody really answered this question, I was wondering where I can find an oil proof hose to survive for the obvious high heat coming off the turbo. Hose Man Hose Pros Parker Store Nelson Dunn Hell, at nelson dunn they will MAKE a Stainles Steel bellows with whatever ends you supply on it. jacob80
I'm just looking for the 3/4" hose from the turbo to the oil pan, thats it.
24OZ
Have you looked into specialist turbo silicone hose suppliers?
rvandivort
I bought a 81 let engine with 95k on it a year and a half ago. The turbo was gone, but the hacked off hose on the oil pan was still there---basically heater hose. Should be the same temperature resistance as oil. I bought the same pipe threaded t3 outlet adapter for my holset as mentioned previously. I think this is being overthought.
rvandivort
I don`t think there will be an external heat problem, since the airflow through the engine compartment will negate any turbo heat. So, as I recall 1/2" pipe nipple(from the T3 adapter) to 3/4 heater hose to oil pan..standard hose clamps. Hope this helps! Roger
