slownrusty
Guys - I had some issues adding three additional guages to my ZX-Turbo over the past few days, I was splicing into +12V switched power harness from the ignition and it was causing major interference with the factory ECU. Anyway, one of Subaru STi buddies, suggested I try this product (Add-A-Circuit Add-A-Fuse) and just tap into the factory fuse box. Well I tried it, they are $10 each and you get a few spare fuses (from 3amps to 10amps) and it worked slick! And then its easy to remove if you have to, no cutting, no splicing, no messing around. Plus its all switched and fused too..beautiful! Anyway I had no idea this product existed but glad my friend recommended it! Just passing it along. S30TRBO
Thanks Yasin now all they need is something for the glass style fuse in the S30's.
Nismo280zEd
actually i'm not a fan of these products. If used properly I guess it's ok but the main reason I'm against it is because it's piggy backing a current circuit already causing it more load than it was designed for thus lowering the "safety" threshold the old circuit had. I would avoid this altogether and run a seperate circuit. -Ed
rejracer
I concur with Ed. At the very least, make sure you check the wiring to the OEM fuse and ensure its of sufficient gauge for both circuits you are running off it if. My recollection is that our fuse boxes are maxed out from the factory as it.
