Forrest
Am I missing something, or is there no way to do a search for an exact phrase from the Advanced Search page? There's no option for it on the page, and the normal search engine operators aren't working.
JSM
I don't think it works right. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?p=916922 I tried with the advanced google search "Exact Phrase search" and your post did not come up at all. 1 fast z
I made a post about this exact thing two months ago here, and there is NO way to search an exact phrase. It used to be quotes, but that does not work anymore.
naviathan
I do exact phrases with the quick search by putting my search phrase in quotes.
JSM
I just did it again and it did not find Exact Phrase search in the title only in the body. I know because last time I tried it didn't find it and I used quotes. Using quotes should return two hits in my opinion, one in for the title and one in the body of the thread. 1. Search 2. "Exact Phrase search" 3. Select the Google Radio button 4. When results come up, click the Search Hybridz.org only 5. Result is only one hit. blue72
Just tried it a few minutes before I found this thread and it doesn't work, at least not for thread titles. Does seem to work fine for the main body of the message though.
