mac9k5 Posted November 12, 2008 Share Posted November 12, 2008 I bought a 1973 240z for less then a grand from a sketchy guy and I have begun to worry that he dressed it up to be indiscernible from a 280z and he swapped the vins or some thing is their any thing I can check that was only on the 240zs (it was sold with an l28e so that does not work) thanks for any help this has been racking my brain Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
rturbo 930 Posted November 12, 2008 Share Posted November 12, 2008 Assuming no major body work has been done, the 240z will have bumper indents behind the rear wheels, the 280z does not.
