jerryb Posted November 24, 2008 Share Posted November 24, 2008 After 3 weekends of cutting, welding and fitting I finaly replaced the stock cloth 240SX seats with leather infinity seats. This is a track car used only for lapping days so hard core racing seats are not required. The passenger seat is fixed while the driver seat is on tracks...little high but I have about an inch of space between my helmet and the roof. Pretty comfy for a track car. .....what do ya think? One question....the drivers seat is bolted to the floor...how thick and what size should I place below the floor to prevent the bolts from tearing through in case of a mishap? jerryb Posted November 24, 2008 Author Share Posted November 24, 2008 I believe a G20.... .they fit in the Z but are a bit wide and high on the stock Z mounts. Look nice and comfortable. jerryb Posted November 27, 2008 Author Share Posted November 27, 2008 I never put SX seats into my Z ...just the G20. I made a couple of crossmembers and bolted the stock Z rails to them.(after removing the G20 rails). It was pretty straight forward. That way they mounted to the stock floor seat brackets.
