miloZ
I installed fender headers in my V8Z and am starting in on the brake and clutch master cylinder relocation. As you can imagine, the fender headers dont leave much room for these master cylinders in the stock locations (about 5" clearance between fire wall and headers) and it would be too hot for them there anyway. Im curious if anyone has done this and if they have advice for a functional solution. Wilwood offers a nice floor mount pedal/cylinder unit but it is to deep and moves pedals forward too much. I was thinking something that fits above pedals but just inside the fire wall. Thanks
Mayolives
My pedals and cylinders are Wilwood. The cylinders and reservoirs are mounted under the cowl. I doubt this could work if I had wind shield wipers.
JMortensen
It's been done and discussed, pictures, etc. Oddly, those discussions took place in the Brakes/Wheels/Suspension/Chassis forum. You might try searching there. "Viperredls1" is one to look for.
