Derek
Hi I bought a Haltech TPS for my intake project because it was open so I could mount it in either direction. Unfortunately it's a POS. It won't return electronically back to the same spot. It's off as much as 20 percent. I verified this with an ohm meter. Can anyone make a recommendation on a TPS. I'd like to find something I can buy over the counter as I don't have time to hit the bone yard. I'd be open to switching to a different type of TPS. 1 fast z
I think most guys use one off of a 240sx S13.
Derek
Ended up buying one from a Chrysler. It's not a D shaft so I'll have to make an adapter but the quality is much better. Thanks Derek
tech9
240sx TPSs are nice, not the best but no modding required and cheap!

SidWell
FWIW. I got my TPS from a 6 Cyl BMW in the local pick yr part. The unit is a very intuitive 3 wire set up. It has a very nice connector inches from the tps. It has the D shaped shaft adaptor. It took me about an hour to adapt it to my rig.
Derek
Well the Chrysler TPS was a piece of crap as well. I've been suffering with it for months now. I finally decided to fix the problem.  I ended up with one from Motec. Worked like a champ and was reasonable at $45.00. I have much better resolution so my TPS based accel enrichment works much better. Just thought I'd update this for future reference.
