Guest Mr.Turbo
Just wanna know if the internals will hold up to the given task which is running a 10-second quarter mile?
ShaggyZ
What is a L28R?
Challenger
Was there an l28r in other parts of the world? I know you want 10 sec 1/4's but what are your power goals?
blue72
Of what I've seen, the L28R was only available in South Africa, but not much info is out there about them. I haven't seen any viable information about any internal differences if there are any. One guy on classiczcars claims he called Nissan and after some searching they told him it stood for race and had some fancy parts inside, but no evidence has surfaced. jc052685
QWERTY keyboard typo is my guess. to answer the question. It will depend on weight of the car and tune quality but I say it is possible.
Daeron
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nissan_engines Nissan engine coding terminology, R denotes supercharged, where E is electronic fuel injection, S is carburetion, T is single turbo, TT is twin turbo etc.
Globerunner513
Doh'! I always thought 'e' was single cam and 'de' was twin cam. I guess just the 'd' means twin cam I'd love to learn more about the L28R though

neotech84
YES. hence...... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nissan_engines Nissan engine coding terminology, R denotes supercharged, where E is electronic fuel injection, S is carburetion, T is single turbo, TT is twin turbo etc. This is a very common miss use of terms and abbreviation. One of my small pet peves.
