The Infidel
Had some extra vw seats laying around so i removed the vw bases and bolted straight to the rails. youll have to use some flat bars and drill some holes but it should only take a couple hours. Drax240z
I have very similar seats in my car too, the only difference is the thigh support is adjustable on mine. Love them! Great seat for the Z. Edited June 5, 2009 by Drax240z

The Infidel
No headrest speakers.... i know.. but im poor and miata seats are so over priced imo. plus i had these taking up shape in my house
The Infidel
also forgot to add you need to swap the seats. the adjustment knobs are on the inside of the seats, so i put the passenger seat in the driver spot and the driver on the other side so people can reach the adjustment knobs. Turbo7MN
Those look great, good thinking on switching the sides... leave it to VW to be different and have the controls on the other side, lol. That would have been awkward in a Z....
CrazyZdriver110
What a good fit, I will have to look around the shop to see if there is some laying around. There is about half a dozen MKVs GTI seats laying around that I planned on using in my Z (I work at http://www.goapr.com), that are left over from the race cars. The Infidel
these are mk2 seats. the mk5 seats are wider and have a different bases, not sure if they will work.
DeleriousZ
wow I sit in those seats every day almost! Ok, not those actual seats, and they're not in a datsun, but still! They're super comfy!
wolfsburgedition
Do you have any pictures of the install? What issues did you run into? THanks
Titus_RacerX
Now, just swap the backs so the tilt release is on the outside and you'll be done!
